Our First Event:
The First FNF Presents Marin Ant Wars
Held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004
Our first Antweight event hosted
jointly by Team Inertia Labs and Team Fatcats
was a rousing success with a good field
of robots, a workable venue and food and fun for all.
The arena has a 12” wide by 9” high
drop zone that is opened during the second minute of each fight,
to allow spinners more time to
destroy, but lend finality to the bouts and give wedges a chance in the second
half.
The first and second place finishers
qualified for the RFL Nationals in October in San Francisco.
First Place – Hummer – Team Inertia Labs ($125 Prize Money and Trophy)
Second Place – Triton – Team Fatcats ($75 Prize Money
and Trophy. Money was given to winner of the Rumble)
Third Place – Hurricane – Team Misfit (Trophy)
